If you don't fill out your survey, we will not have your addresses to ship, your Kickstarter Account name will be used on the Thank You page and you'll miss out on rewards.

BACKERKIT SURVEYS ARE OUT!

Happy Wednesday Super Friends!

We have officially sent out the all BackerKit Surveys to our backers! You should see an email in your inbox (or its in your promotions/spam folder) from BACKERKIT that looks a little like this...

The emails will be coming from "Jason Inman" so be sure to check your spam filters or make sure the correct email address is connected to your Kickstarter account.

We need EVERYONE to fill out their Backerkit surveys as soon as possible so we can get your correct names for the THANK YOU PAGE in our PDFS, and get all our item counts correct for the PRINTER!

The DEADLINE for these surveys is 3/30/2022. 

(What happens if I miss the deadline?) -- I'm so glad you asked!

If you miss the deadline -- we will use your Kickstarter Account Name for the Thank You Page, BUT... we will not be able to send you any of your rewards until you complete the survey. So it's important to fill out that survey as soon as you see it.

QUICK NOTE FOR APPLE ID BACKERS FROM BACKERKIT --

Backers who have pledged to the campaign using their AppleID but haven't completely set up their Apple Pay account (linking their email address to their Apple Wallet) will have issues receiving their emails from BackerKit.

Those backers have a @privaterelay.appleid.com email address and will need to reach out to the creator team or BackerKit Support to update their email address in BackerKit.

You'll be able to reach out to BackerKit Support by clicking the "need help" link from the Lost Survey page:  https://www.backerkit.com/are_you_a_backer

Please update your Apple Pay email as soon as possible to prevent this from happening in the future.

Visiting the East Coast Super Friends & Survey Update!

Hello Super Friends!

First off, surveys for the final issue should go out next week if Backerkit approves them in a timely manner. Secondly, I am excited to announce that I will be making my first appearance at GALAXY CON in Richmond, VA on March 24-26! 

It takes place at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. I'll have a table in Artist's Alley. Please stop by and say hello if you are a backer of this book! I want to shake your hand, take a picture, show you exclusive art and possibly give you a BONUS as thanks. 

Plus I will be hosting several panels -- see below.

What a Grand Finale! Thank you & Next Steps!

THANK YOU FOR A GRAND SERIES FINALE, Super Best Friends!

I'm so excited that THANKS TO YOU the Super Best Friend series is COMPLETE. (Well, until the Hardcover -- shh!!) I can't wait for you to read Mattie Moore's finale story. 

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Well, I'm going to take a few days to recover from the Kickstarter train and then... begin fulfillment. We only have a couple of pages left due to cameos, but once we get those lettered we can begin to finalize this book and get it off to the printer. 

• 2-3 Weeks - Kickstarter Funds are released to me
• 3-4 Weeks - BackerKit Surveys will go out. (I use Backerkit for my surveys.)
• Second Week of March -- I will reach out to all ZOOM CALLS, SCRIPT REVIEWS, PATREON BONUS Backers, ETC and get everything squared away those Backers.
• March 28 -- SURVEYS due. (If you don't fill out your survey, I can't include you in the THANK YOU PAGE!) 

ALSO -- if you used AN APPLE PAY ACCOUNT for your KS pledge -- you will need to change that as BackerKit and KS doesn't forward all messages to those accounts for some reason. So, please update that as SOON AS POSSIBLE. 

• 1st Week of April - Book goes to Printer. (This process takes at minimum 30 days because of the paper shortage now).
• Insert 2 Month -- $#it happens" buffer -- it's a bonkers world!
• Mid-July - Book Printed and shipped to us
• Mid-August - We get all the books and fullfillment begins! All the books are shipped and the backers are happy! (I usually allow a month for this process to complete because myself and my wife will be the only two people packaging all the rewards.)
• Mid -September -- Expected delivery to US backers
• Late-September -- Expected delivery for International Backers - Estimated 4 Weeks.

Hey Super Friends!

It's our final day, and thank you for making this such a great campaign! I'm going to announce OUR FINAL REWARD -- an original INK DRAWING of CAPTAIN TERRIFIC by HOWARD PORTER (JLA & The Flash)! Howard is an artist I've admired for years and it's a dream to work with him. Here's a little tease of that...

I'll reveal the full piece below (which is available as a reward RIGHT NOW -- ONLY ONE AVAILABLE!) But first... I want to talk about one of our older books SCIENCE! 

...and the SPECIAL BONUS, I'm offering on our final day if you scoop it up as an ADD-ON. 

Science!: The Elements of Dark Energy is an 10 page middle-grade original graphic novel written by husband and wife team, Jason Inman and Ashley Victoria Robinson. It was Ringo nominated for the Best Kids Graphic Novel in 2019. 

Science! is the story of Tamsin Kuhn Trakroo, a fourteen-year-old girl who is already the smartest Theoretical and Applied Physicist in any room. Yeah, she’s that super smart! Tamsin has just started studying at The Prometheus Institute which is only the world's most famous and prestigious science school. The Institute is a futuristic wonderland filled with genius teachers (some who might not be of this world), and floating helper robots known as S.T.A.T.s. 

Tamsin's really cute roommate, Garyn, is the only one that she can trust right now. However, Garyn’s just discovered a dangerous energy source that could win her the Prometheus Institute Award for Superior Science, or it could tear a hole in the very space/time continuum!

Using all her skills, Tamsin will have to gather a group of super science friends to discover the secrets of Garyn's project. Confronting her ultimate goal: Will she destroy the school that her father claims terminated him or save it? (That's only if her rocket obsessed friend, AJ, doesn't burn it down first. )

SCIENCE! is one of my favorite books I've ever worked on, and I don't think many people saw it. 

So if any physical backer adds on the full 100 page graphic novel of SCIENCE! -- I will add 3 BONUS PRINTS and STICKERS to your final package as a THANK YOU FOR CHECKING IT OUT.

Next steps, I'm going to take a few days off, and as we wait for the money to clear on the Kickstarter side, and I'll be creating the surveys which will go out about three weeks after the campaign ends. So make sure your email address are up to date. I can't give you your rewards if I can't contact you!

OTHER RAD KICKSTARTERS TO CHECK OUT -- GOLDEN YEARS - A 136 Page Superhero Graphic Novel

GOLDEN YEARS jumps back and forth between the 1950s and 2023, showing Captain Future in his original time (with golden age heroes and villains) and in the present (dealing with a new breed of allies and super criminals). The story is a blend of humor and drama, a contrast between past and present, showing Captain Future’s fight to get a grip on his predicament and figure out how to deal with this violent new world.
