Hey Super Friends!

SUPER BEST FRIEND #1-3 is FUNDED!!

Thank you so much for funding the series in less than 9 Hours! Super Best Friend has been lucky enough to fund in the first 24 hours for every issue and I never take it for granted. I'm so excited that you all will finally get to read the ending to this series! Check out my video thank you message to all of you on Twitter. I appreciate all your day one support of our super friends and we've got some exciting things to add over the next 30 days! STAY TUNED to the bottom of this update for the JIM CHEUNG (Young Avengers) Original Captain Terrific Art Piece announcement!

Now, it's time to roll out the STRETCH GOALS!

•  STRETCH GOAL #1 -- $10K : We already unlocked this Stretch Goal, so every physical backer will receive this RAD Jordi Peréz postcard print featuring a lovely Silver Age homage!
•  STRETCH GOAL #2 -- $12K: If we hit this Stretch Goal, all backers will an Artist's Version of ISSUE 3 featuring only Inks and Colors plus my original script for the Issue. 
•  STRETCH GOAL #3 -- $14K: If we hit this Stretch Goal, I'm going to attemp something I've never done before -- draw a cover of a COMIC BOOK! We'll unlock an ADD-ON for my VARIANT COVER for the final issue of Super Best Friend. plus an extra bonus postcard print for all backers!
•  STRETCH GOAL #4 -- $16K: If we hit this Stretch Goal, all backers will receive a fun E-BOOK written from the perspective of Mattie Moore. It will recount IN HIS VOICE the adventures of our series, filling in the gaps of the Super Best Friend world, and giving hints for what happens to him post our series conclusion. It'll be like the Mattie Moore Tell-all Novel!
•  STRETCH GOAL #4 -- $18K:  If we hit this Stretch Goal, all physical backers will receive three bonus postcard prints from three of our variant covers! (See above).

-- And there's a bonus STRETCH GOAL 5, that I'll announce if we hit 18K!

It's Mattie and Captain Terrific at a RAD CONCERT by Evie and the Helsings!!!

We're excited for our own Super Team-Up™ with the Evie and the Helsings crew to offer a gorgeous 6x9 mini-print penciled by Don Cardenas, inked by Steve Bryant, and colored by our own Alivon Ortiz! It's free to all backers who back both Evie and the Helsings and Super Best Friend at a physical (print) level! 

But you should back Evie and the Helsings anyways. Why? Because the ART IS COOL. But let's hear more about their amazing book from the team themselves. 

For centuries, the Van Helsing family has protected humanity from things that go bump in the night. The last protector has fallen, and the mantle goes to her one surviving heir. The problem is, Evie Van Helsing just wants to rock. Written by Steve Bryant (Athena Voltaire, The Catch, Ghoul Scouts) and drawn by Don Cardenas (Spend the Night, Off into the Sunset, Packs of the Low Country), with colors by Jason Millet (Athena Voltaire, Archie Versus Predator), Evie and the Helsings is the first issue of a 4-issue miniseries that follows Evie's adventures as she navigates life between two worlds. It's like Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets This is Spinal Tap by way of Ash Versus Evil Dead.

TERRIFIC ART PRINT ADD-ON DROP TOMORROW!

You might have seen me talking about this on social media. But for the final issue of Super Best Friend, I reached out to a bunch of MAJOR ARTISTS that I love and asked them to do small original art pieces of Captain Terrific. The first one that will be available is by Jim Cheung. 

We've all love JIM CHEUNG's work on such major comics like Scion, New Avengers: Illuminati, Young Avengers and Avengers: The Children's Crusade. He created this ONE OF A KIND 5x6.5inch ink sketch on an art board for the campaign and it'll only be available as an ADD-ON to the Kickstarter. 

It will go live at 11am PST tomorrow, and once it's gone! It's gone. THERE'S ONLY ONE! So if you've ever wanted to own a Jim Cheung original piece of art, here's your chance.
